Sponsorship Amount: $10,000Southern California Piano Conservatory Foundation awards financial scholarships to qualified students who are pursuing a music education. There is the possibility of renewal, but each recipient must re-apply each year for renewal of scholarship. The amount and the renewal of the award are dependent on the need of the applicant and funds available.
How to Apply for a Scholarship
- You must meet all requirements and criteria.
- Download Scholarship application.
- All applications must be typed and application packet must include the following:
– A copy of the completed application form and all attachments
– Proof of enrollment in the Southern California Piano Conservatory for at least one year.

The following information is requested on the application form for consideration by the selection committee in determining the scholarship recipient(s)
A music instructor (at school and/or private instructor) must address the applicant’s ability to attain his/her goals in the field of music and give a brief summary of musical commitment.
The applicant should embody and demonstrate qualities of high personal character including honesty, integrity and work ethic.
The applicant should be recognized as a leader in the promotion of music in the school and community.
The applicant should demonstrate the ability to perform proficiently at his/her appropriate level of expertise.
The Southern California Piano Conservatory Foundation’s scholarship committee will review applications. The committee will select each scholarship recipient on an objective and non-discriminatory basis. Should your application be chosen for review by the scholarship committee, an interview will be scheduled with the members of the committee. Please bring a copy of your application with you and be prepared to perform the musical selections on your audition cd.
Scholarship funds are disbursed directly to the institution providing the service. No monies will be given directly to the students. Within 6 months of receiving the scholarship, the Foundation will contact the institution to confirm that the monies have been received and appropriately used. If the monies have not been received by the institution, the student will be contacted immediately. Scholarship funds are non-taxable income to the recipient.
